WOW - these socks are great. Didn't like that elastic around the arch the other smartwool socks I have owned. Bugged me. These don't have it. Very thin and soft, but amazingly warm. You'll like 'em. Men with regular size (9-11) need to get LARGE. Those of you with the really big feet need to get even larger. Men's small would work OK for most regular size women. - JayHutch

I've bought several pairs of Smartwool socks in my area, but nobody carries dress socks. I bought these for work, and they are comfortable for work use. Exactly what I bought them for.
The only issue I have run across is after only 8-9 months the heel is completely worn away. My other Smartwool socks have lasted more than a couple years without this problem.

I recently made a repeat purchase of black men's classic Smartwool socks because these are comfortable, long wearing,and look good. Great as every day/all day socks for work or casual use.
