Took shirt to Africa and islands in Indian Ocean, and it was comfortable, relatively cool, and dried quickly. Best of all it kept the tsetse flies and mosquitoes at bay. Flies and other bugs found my bare ankles and legs but stayed away from my torso and neck. Vey pleased with the shirt.

I'm a mosquito magnet, and we were planning a trip to Mexico in late July, the rainy season. We were forwarned of the mosiquito's. I wore this shirt all of the time I was there, with the sleeves in the rolled up position. A quick rinse at night and hang dry! Was ready in the morning. I had absolutely no bites on my arms, torso, neck or face. I also had a pair of the zip off pants made of the same material. I usually wore those as shorts. I did get some bites on my lower legs and ankles, but again not around the shorts. Really helped me relax outside!

My husband and I have several of these shirts and have worn them for years. He travels to Africa and Central America so these shirts are good mosquito protection (Also take Malaria medication if it is recommended). I like to wear them when I garden to keep mosquitoes,gnats,and biting flies away. I also wore them when I visited the rainforest in Costa Rica. I would much rather wear this shirt than coat myself in lots of bug spray. There is no odor, and it feels like any other fabric. They really do work!
